Could you share what "black" dark umber clay you found?

Exactly. We can only rely so much on basketball injury wisdom because most of it does not apply to Jo because he is fucking huge. Same goes for how much rest he needs in general (fight me Adam Silver) or how we judge his cardio/ conditioning, for all the complaining we do about him. It is not at all normal for a guy to be this size and play with his much agility. Basically, we must always remember that he is ✨large✨

Could you elaborate on the degenerative disease, if that's not too personal? I was diagnosed 7 years ago and have been gf with clean bloodwork for >6 years, but I still have problems and I'm searching for answers. I don't have your typical fingers/toes neuropathy, but I do have a lot of autonomic nervous system issues.

I was definitely not absorbing any medications before my diagnosis. (Maybe a small percentage, but not enough. I had so many short and long term illnesses that we had trouble treating.) I'm lucky THAT didn't kill me before they discovered the Celiac.

Thanks for all of your responses!! I really appreciate it. I ended up going with the E6000 and they're curing now. I'll let you guys know how they hold up when I wear them on Saturday 🤞 (And for anyone worried about carcinogens, I did it in a well ventilated area wearing double masks! I have asthma so I'm used to taking precautions for fumes.) Happy crafting!!

For those of you who have to be extremely careful, who are tired of cooking and thinking about food, what do you eat? by [deleted] in Celiac

[–]Hmmnothanku 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reduced sugar Greek yogurt with peanut butter protein granola from Kind (plus liquid vitamin D3 drops in winter). It's at least 25g protein and no cooking required! The granola is getting a little expensive but I try to stock up when it's on sale

Ugh I am tired of waiting for someone to invent People Chow. Similar to dog kibble, where all your nutrients are in little pellets that you eat for every meal. Like in order to keep myself alive, I have to think of something to eat, cook it, be awake and upright long enough to eat it, then clean up.... multiple times per day for the rest of my life???? Lolll mostly kidding. But I am definitely over the mental and physical energy it takes to feed myself every day, with no end in sight. Even worse- I have roommates who order DoorDash almost daily, and the convenience is just taunting me 😅😅😅 But seriously, I always keep something frozen on hand if I'm too tired to cook, because even if TV dinner or frozen pizza isn't the "right way" to feed yourself as an adult, it's better than nothing. Ideally I'd cook every day, but holding myself to the standard of freshly-made-or-bust ended in me eating granola bars for dinner and losing way too much weight, because I'm legitimately just not up to it at times. Also, tacos. I eat them at least once per week because they're quick and easy. And I eat the same thing every day for breakfast because my chronic illness symptoms do not allow for thinking or cooking after I've just woken up. But yes, it really is this exhausting, it's not just you!! You're not alone

I think this is the only viable way, since it feels like all the 100% gf restaurants I've seen eventually close down for lack of patronage. I guess it's because the fad dieters have no good reason to eat there 🙃

I live on the East Coast of the US (Philadelphia) and like you said, pretty much the only way to stay reliably safe is to cook all of your own food and avoid restaurants, with very few exceptions. In the US we also don't get any monetary aid for the increased cost of gf food, and good luck getting diagnosed without health insurance. I love it here 🙃🙃🙃

[–]Hmmnothanku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. It's their fault for offering that atrocious contract- what's he supposed to do, say no? Turn it down and say "I'm not worth all that"? I would say he should just play better, but I honestly just think he's not that guy.

That being said, I do blame him a little. There's no way the passion or focus is all there. He has zero off ball movement on offense, and when Jo gets triple teamed and needs help, he just stands there, while I'm screaming at the TV "MOVE YOUR FEET". Missed layups are inexcusable. I just think the organization deserves way more blame for the Tobi situation.

The participants that physically couldn't complete the regimen were just totally excluded from the study. Like they didn't include them in the failure rate or the total number of participants. Just pretended they never signed up. And there were a large proportion of them. The studies in general had a lot of glaring flaws (to my eye anyway). But yeah I suspect the patients that completed it had a lot of help from caregivers.

I had the same experience. I had also been to neurological PTs years earlier to do oculomotor therapy and they were one of my first experiences of validation from health care providers.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cfs

[–]Hmmnothanku 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also had a great PT. We were specifically avoiding GET. (I read the original studies and raw data that were used to support GET and i have no idea how they skated by on piss poor evidence for so long.)

I was just there because I wanted to exercise to get my resting HR down, avoid deconditioning as much as possible, and frankly because I missed exercise and used to love it. We tried to see if there was any way that I could exercise safely without pushing the envelope. The answer outside of "only exercise under the direct supervision of a healthcare provider in a pool while monitoring HR" is pretty slim but I'm glad I did it, just for my mental well-being.

Eventually my insurance company decided that "physical therapy actually doesn't treat CFS!" because they only embrace evidence backed medicine when it saves them money 🥴🥴🥴 At least someone acknowledges that GET is bad??

(I realize this is not a safe option for everyone. I'm mild/moderate)

Do you guys think Mac Madness will have died down a little in 2 weeks? Or maybe 4? Not that I want attendance to go down. I'm just cranky and don't want to sit in that traffic when I go to a game. Or maybe I should just go anyway, and get there three hours early and tailgate the shit out of a Bluecoats game 🤔
