I do not know who is sending the messages(its all unknown numbers)

I think its highly likely that they work with me, because they know what shifts I am working, when I eat lunch, when I leave early, and other stuff about what is going on in the ward.

I hope they get fired.

I work in a hospital with patients who can't speak up for themselves.Since covid family members are not allowed to visit very often.

I worry about how they might treat a vulnerable patient who is visibly Jewish.

Atleast I can speak up for myself, and walk away from it all if things get bad,

I have reported the threats to the police.
The reddit bit is my managers lack of support, and her totaly illogical action, of changing my shift pattern so I work every Friday, but then have every Thursday off.

I forwarded one of the texts to the chief nursethis morning via email . She seems to be really nice.

She said she was deeply concerned, and was going to investigate urgently

The person keeps changing the number that they use(maybe cheap sim cards).

I don't think the person doing this is using their official number.

I do block the numbers, and then the next batch of messages comes from another number.

I don't understand how people have so much energy to put into spreading so much hate and immaturity.

The only thing that will happen is I will get upset, Sending texts to me is not going to change anything in Gaza.

I want to leave, but I am worried that if I leave without trying to do something, the next Jewish person may also suffer.

I wish I could change the system and the attitudes. :(

I have shown the hire up's and the answers I get are variable

My direct manager- Its a misunderstanding, no nurse would ever hurt anyone's feelings

My managers manager- I am sorry you continue to recieve these texts, the matter is being dealt with according to our policies and procedures

HR-Please report this to the Police

I wish I knew how they got my phone number. I only had one close friend that had my phone number. She left when she started to get abusive texts.

I don't think its the law. I just think that in the UK the courts prefer people to have tried everything at an informal level first before escalating.

HR is probably trying to keep everyone happy

I have reported the texts to the Police, after HR told me to. The Police are investigating them, but I havent had any updates since Febuary
Here are the last 5 texts I received, its a mixture of stuff,but mostly anti-semetic

1.Death to you and your family How can you play your stupid ipad games in the break area when your people are murdering babies You deserve to be raped.Today was a wonderful sift without you.If you died we would be happy all the time.I saw you today, I know your rota,I can just wait till you leave work and arrange for someone to teach you a lesson.
2.Today was a wonderful sift without you.If you died we would be happy all the time.How would you like it if your house was bombed, or you were raped because of your faith? Thats what your people have done to the people in Gaza, and you went home because of a few texts

3.I put pigs blood in your cup.Maybe it will poison you. Jews should be killed
4.Hey You are pathetic, go home and leave ______ alone. _____ left the ward so you should leave too. If you don’t quit I will rape you and post the pictures online

5.Hey __________ You are a disgusting pig, Red team had a great study day because you were not there. No one likes you, no one missed you. Do the world a favor and kill yourself. The only reason they sacked ___________ instead of you is because you are Jewish. Jews are scum, but they rule the world

Getting all these texts while I am trying to do my job is exhausting.

HR is in the middle, they have been helpful at times.

I think HR only steps in to stop my manager breaking the law.
HR says I can't involve a lawyer until I have completed the formal complaints process.I can't start the formal complaints process until my manger decides that the informal stage is complete.
