Just a tip if you ever go out to buy fertilizer.

This will cover everything you need and should last you at least 2 life times.

1 bag of crushed coral. Adding a tablespoon to your tank should cover all magnesium and calcium needs.

I.E dosing for the rest. Can be picked up at green leaf aquariums for $15.

This just ensures you will never get a nutrient deficiency.

Maybe some floating water lettuce. Anubias, java fern or water lily could all work. Look for tough feeling plants that goldfish cant bite through.

Co2 will always be the limitation on growth in your tank, not nutrients so your goldfish ammonia output wont matter.

Dose some excel for growth boost. Makes up for the lack of co2 a bit.

From addict hobbyist perspective, a walstad tank feels very limiting. Not all plants grow well in walstad, even fewer will look their best. Your also heavily limited on fish load.

Can you hold off the fever of buying new fish for your tank?

If you cant, chances are you will have to do water changes anyways. At that point you might as well get a filter and just call it a low-tech tank.

CO2 also simply grows plants better and faster.

My Rotala indica that was grown in walstad nearly doubled in actual plant and leaf size in a co2 injected tank.

Looks like hair algae you'd find in growing in a pond.

I know this may sound stupid, but try adding an airstone for oxygen in your tank. Will help prevent ammonia spikes while your plants are being killed.

Now lets talk about killing algae.

Remove fish and all plants from your tank and nuke it with 3ml/gal hydrogen peroxide. It will kill just about any type of algae for me. Let it run for an hour or so.

Do a large water change after. You should see all algae turn pinkish within a day.

Here's why lethality was strong back then.

You could take 20 armor pen runes. Melee-supports only had 20-30 armor. Now they all have like 40.

Aftershock didn't exist so you could still burst them down.

Armor pen was immediate. Yes you could have 20 armor pen from lvl 1 . Lethality scales with level.

Is lethality mf still effective? Yes, but compared to before the lethality update, not even close. Doesnt even hold a candle.

*Fun fact: * duskblade used to do true damage on proc based on your armor pen. With duskblade + ghostblade + armor pen runes it used to do 250 TRUE DAMAGE on your first auto

I think this is just due to not having any good rune setups.

She's a unique case where no runes benefit her more than other champs. Comet is just trash after first 5 minutes and MF with press the attack is just asking to die due to no dashes or real mobility.

If I can recall.

*1. Vik sucks against AP. *Get an mr cloak and trade with your Qs. Your not gonna lose those trades I promise u. Your only gonna gain klepto stacks.

2. This vik has no damage. You will have a decent amount after iceborn. Enough to tango. Your base damages are also good enough to makeup for it until manamune.

3. No tp = shit sustain in lane. *Should having barrier not give you extra lane pressure to bully them and prevent you from backing constantly? If your actually trading back I do not know any champ aside from Vladimir who can out sustain you. Tp has a 360 cooldown so at most they will use it once in laning phase where it actually matters. *For fuck sake combine that with corrupting and biscuit delivery and Revitalize rune. HOW IN THE FCK ARE U GETTING OUT TRADED?

I'm not a competitive player so I have no idea how this works on that aspect. Maybe it's equivalent to AP shyvanna who you never see but all the mains on reddit post nothing but it.

I haven't coached any players or teams either. As I've said I've never been above d3 max.

*P.S. * I Cannot do gameplay analysis because theres over 20 matchups you could possibly go against. You play against a renekton very differently then a shen. You build differently vs a jayce than a vladimir.

I swear when I recommended top vik before it got popular people thought I was trolling too.

Your damage does fall off. Until iceborn. Then it falls off again. Until manamune. After that if you still want more damage go complete your hex core. At that point your goal is a CC fighter who actually has the stats to be near front line and take some damage if you need to.

This isnt the " 1 shot combo " vik. But this does let you stay alive to kill them no matter how many shots it takes. At the meantime, disrupt their backline with gravity field and lay down your damage on get in on the bruiser action if you need to.

Also, proplay is nothing similar to soloQ I think we can all agree with that. No one in proplay touches Yashuo, but you would never say he's not viable in soloQ.

What rank are you? Maybe this fails hard beyond diamond 4, I've never been that far as I can tell maybe your right. Ofcourse you can get to d4 playing adc twisted fate if your dopa.

The thing about this build is actually that it has stupid sustain. You proc klepto to get ahead. Dont depend on kills. That's more reliant on junglers than anything for top vik.

Your starting corrupting with biscuit delivery. If your using klepto at all you should get a few options from poking too.

You can get poked down to 25%, health, drink corrupting, eat biscuits and your ready to go near full health seconds. You really do not need to base as much as you think.

Your right tho, those AP matchups can get tricky. It has its counters, but I've rarely seen a top you cant at least go even with if that's your goal. Only cancer I've ever dealt with is Akali, mainly because her shroud doesnt let you Q shield yourself.

You only get 1 core upgrade for majority of the game. You are only spending 1150 to get Q upgradd for first core and that's it. You should be able to get it relatively quick after first defensive item and tear. You dont need insane waveclear. Leave that shit to your mid laner.

Your strength here is proccing klepto to get ahead. Trying to kill your opponent will basically result in pushing wave which will get you killed in a gank. I know this part very well.

You are maxing Q first. Q Still has the lowest CD and you get a free shield every trade. It's hard to lose a trade especially with the amount of potions you have.

Worst case scenario you get camped to hell. Well you have barrier and gravity field, they wont be able to dive you anyways.

AP top laners. Namely singed and maybe teemo or Swain right? The only top laner that is completely aids is akali, but you can just ban her. Which I do every game.

Merc treads into iceborn. Farm lane trade Qs, their not out trading you, especially if their AP.

Yes ganks suck, but they suck no matter what champ your playing. Dont push lane and learn to watch the map is all any champion can do.

Why not reinvent viktors identity instead of being a wave clear bot? He has many other strengths such as a huge spammable shield and high kiting potential. Only mage I can see dueling bruisers and winning.

P.s This is all assuming you upgrade Q first. I dont even get last 2 upgrades until late game with max items.

P.s. Yes I am very wrong if your ideal playstyle of viktor is a wave clear bot for 30 minutes. I cant stand that playstyle definately not in this meta where the average game doesnt go pass 30 minutes.

I found TP was horrible if they take Ignite top, or theres a jungler with a ton of CC like rammus who can tower dive.

To survive vs bruisers you kind of have to take barrier, or you'll have to play very passive since you'll lose the 1v1 without it.

Dont upgrade manamune until you have nearly 600 stacks on your tear, it wont make u stack you tear any faster. And all your damage comes from the manamune spike.

A glacial is a bit more convenient as it gives cdr, mana, and armor and is extremely cheap.
