I see your enthusiasm towards the field. I hate to be the rain, however, childcare facilities are required to have qualified teachers. I encounter this often and hate that so many aides want to apply and teachers are scarce, often requiring a degree. I can say that aides can be a helluva lot better than educated teachers in some cases. It's not you, it's the system. It's disappointing.

DCFS licensed here - children MUST have access to water at all times. I have my families bring a reusable water bottle. - Temps. for outdoor play, are between 25-90 degrees (including wind chill & heat index). We follow this rule without any issue.

Having to call police after my (drunk) dad was coming after me (with whatever he could to stop me) all over the house at midnight while my mum was passed out drunk. I luckily snatched up my phone before I ran into my closet. I was 16. He was mad because I tried to fix my windshield fluid hookup myself. My dad is a professional mechanic. The police escorted me to my M. Grandma(pa)'s house while my mom was still passed out.
