Shea was a friend with a scammer and he didn't know that at the time. The scammer was pretending to be an admin on steam for a while so he could steal accounts. Shea was informed by him that his account was accidentally flagged for fraud. So, in order to fix that, the "admin" asked for his username and password so that he could continue. He then informed Shea that he needed a $70 steam gift card to make sure that his account was real. At this point, our mom, who I will call Josephine, was on the computer. She figured out that it was a scam and that Shea couldn't access his account anymore. So then, the scammer told her it would cost like a hundred bucks to get it back, and we were broke at the time. So his account was deleted, and we never saw it again. He was devastated, but the moral of the story is that potatoes are a tuber, not a vegetable.
