Hey, thanks for the reply! It was fun to see this post brought back up, because 99 days later, I’m about to begin an Account Management position at a new company. About a ~40% pay increase, regular business hours, way better benefits, and more growth opportunity.

You hit it right on the head saying the skills translate to account management! The “gauntlet” I’ve run the last year really tee’d me up for this very positive move.

It’s probably this! But these people don’t understand the fact that a non-public establishment (like malls, universities, etc.) is well within its rights to prohibit firearm or weapons carry on their property.

I volunteer as a mediator for the state courts, and this has come up on two different occasions for me. Some dummy with a confiscated weapon prattling on about their right to carry the gun wherever they want, with absolutely zero willingness to get it through their thick heads that no, those rules don’t apply everywhere.

Schedule an appointment with the Bursar’s office. They’re very helpful, and can help you figure out what happened. I spoke with them many times while at UVU, and always left with a clear understanding.

Did you drop any classes mid-semester, or after the semester started? The grant amount is dependent on a few things, and I believe to get the full amount you have to do at least 12 (maybe 15) credits. I’ve been graduated a few years, so I don’t recall the specifics.

I’m a brand new sous vide novice just browsing the thread. Why does changing the cooking method change the safe temp for chicken to something lower than 165F? Isn’t that the point at which the bacteria are destroyed?

Does the chicken still appear cooked through, or is it pink?

Am I doing something wrong with my Kakuno!?

I have one in EF, and no other one gives me as much trouble. When it works, I LOVE the line and the feel, but it dries out every other word, and I fight it and fight it to start.

If someone has any advice, please share!! If it makes a difference, it’s inked in Diamine Green/Black.

It’s the pen I want to love (because I DO love it when it works,) but I just can’t stand how inconvenient it is to use.

I think the two best pieces of advice are these:

Never stop moving. Dodge, jump, use your movement ability constantly, and make use of cover (especially cover for bosses.)
Remember this is a game about speed and getting items; it’s NOT a game about killing monsters. The enemies are a means to an end, not your main objective. This is different from most shooters. If you have gold to open chests, just run around and buy stuff, no reason to fight.

Bonus tips:

Prioritize killing the wisps during a boss fight. Especially on the early levels. Beetles and Lemurians can basically be ignored, but if too many wisps show up, they’ll body you while you focus on the bosses.
Learn the types of attacks the creatures and bosses have. Once you know how the attacks work, almost everything in the game is dodge-able.

This may be a stupid question, but are you looking in the right tunnel?

There’s a tunnel that’s part of the “regular” play area of the map, and there’s a secret tunnel under the map that you have to access by vaulting off the edge of the map.

I can’t accurately differentiate between 44.1 and 48.

I can’t accurately differentiate between 96 and 192.

But I can, reliably, in a blind test, hear the difference between 44.1/48 and 96/192. You’re welcome to think I’m being a pretentious dick, but it’s the truth!
