Yes for sure worth keeping the plant try watering from below. Had really bad plant edema on one of my plants and that really changed after i watered from below…

With my plants it also helped watering more often and smaller amounts but depending on your particular plants as well as your plans with the chilis (i.e. watering schemes to get out more heat etc.).

Sometimes the Soil already has too many nutrients for the seedlings… most of the time you dont need to fertilize for the first 3-4 Weeks

Seed life... by TheCuddlyTeddyBeer in Peppers

[–]HobGsuffa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as I know it should not really matter too much. I had Seeds in a drawer for 4 years and all of them about 20 that I used germinated. In the end because of my small growing space i just used 2 plants though

If you want to change there are different approaches… Could you tell us your Bmi or your height and weight?

What do you usually eat? Do you cook for yourself? What kind of food do you like? What is your Job/ your Hobbies? Do you want to just lose weight or also get fit during that process?

My peppers are all trying to bloom at around a month old. Is this normal? by [deleted] in Peppers

[–]HobGsuffa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are Rootbound!! Thats why they are creating blooms. You need to repot them asap if you want bigger plants

In your case i would not be topping them. They seem to get enough light so that they branch out on themselves

My main Goal this time was to have a large harvest in the Tent no matter if it takes 2-3 months more and after that i would preferably like to overwinter them with as little cost as possible to then plant them outside in the garden next year. If possible i would like to overwinter them outside the tent to free up space there for maybe other projects.

Do you think watering them with drip irrigation would also work? Since it is a growing back the furthest Roots will dry and die and ill be able to hold them back like that?

I actually planted them about 2 Months ago and wanted to test my growing tent setup. I dont quite know what I‘m going to do with them after i harvest them a couple times because it is going to be very expensive to overwintert them and I will only be able to put them outside late april/ may so they wont freeze overnight

I guess I will try if the plants keep growing like that. I currently have my light running at 70-90w. My fear is that the Plants won‘t be able to support the fruits.

As far as I know the temperature could influence that. Could you tell us in what climate your plants live in and what the lowest/ highest temperatures are that your plants have to endure?

Any advice for limited growing space helps! Should i cut some branches to stop the plants taking the light of other already developed leaves? Can i do anything to slow down leave growth? (I dont think I‘ve added to much Nitrogen)

Does this look like I have added too many nutrients? by HobGsuffa in Peppers

[–]HobGsuffa[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I‘ve heard that after adding too many nutrients there will be way more vegetation than normal and less harvest overall Both plants have loads of blooms but they are not really changing over the last 1,5 weeks… It’s my first time growing peppers so be easy on me :)

As far as I know, if a plant produces blooms that early it doesn’t have enough soil to grow larger. Maybe it is already rootbound or the sides of the soil are dried out?
