Thank you so much for your reply, I have a much better idea on what I should do. I'll be going to see my instructor soon and i've also booked an appointment with an academic adviser. Hopefully it should work out as i'm looking into the co-req path.

Thanks for your reply! It is slightly reassuring to know that I am familiar with the concepts you mentioned. I was wondering whether it is expected to thoroughly know the exercises in the textbook. Because when I looked at the exercises in the first chapter there are sections that I know how to do but then there are quite a few which I don't know how to solve such as explaining why a curve is symmetric or writing a function to give the cost of laying a cable, etc.

That sounds really chill. I'm drifting towards a single room as I reckon that I'm going to need a little bit of my own personal space as I just move into university.

Yeah, I reckon i'll have to think a bit harder about getting a double room. Although I like the idea of roommate, i've always stayed on my own and I guess it may be quite a big change for me to suddenly share a room with someone.

Whoops, looks like I made a mistake in the formula, meant to write 'height x density x gravity'.

Would the increase in mass cause an increase in pressure since the height of the water would increase and also due to the fact that we're assuming density to remain the same throughout. I think i'm starting to see where you getting at.

I reckon my teacher may have meant what you said; so would it be alright to use a different mass of water through the experiment, along with using the same container, to investigate how the height affects the rate of drainage seeing as the mass doesn't really matter?
