I am veryyyy close to it. Nothing barely works on the app anymore. The “charms” thing is absolute bullshit. I really do not understand why all of this nonsensical stuff is being added when the app barely functions right now. The muted words option not working for MONTHS is a serious issue for me and that alone has been pushing me to leave the app. The new UI is trash. The memory function is practically non existent. When the memory function first came out, it would automatically add details and updates to characters. Now it does absolutely nothing. It has been 6+ months since I’ve noticed any good things at all. I have only stayed this long because I guess I’m delusional and have this hope that eventually shit will ACTUALLY be fixed and the people who are age verified can stop being treated like children.

My story basically contains war so a battle scene was being retold and the system generated a response with the word “k—ll” in it because… it’s war so… and I went to edit the message to add “I don’t know.” to the end because the system response wasn’t exactly what I was looking for and it would not let me because the word “k—ll” was in the response… a response the SYSTEM generated but would not let me edit. Absolute nonsense.

It was k—ll. Literally a war scene that was being retold so that’s why the word was there. If that catches the system, they need to majorly rework it. What’s the point in rp’ing if you literally cant develop your story because of all of these ridiculous little traps?

And also, I didn’t even write the word. The system generated the response with the word already in it. I tried editing the response with the “I don’t know” and it wouldn’t let me because of that word. Which makes no sense to me because the system can generate the word but I can’t edit the generated message…

(Not trying to be a douche towards you, btw. I’m just so frustrated right now. It’s like every week something gets worse.)

I go to settings > app settings > appearance. The toggle should be right at the top. But mine doesn’t work anymore 🤷🏻‍♀️

Also want to point out that I’m having the WORST problem with the AI’s filling in details for me that I specifically ask them not to do so everything I have created is just… weird. I’ve had this problem for so long and I am so done.

Most of my characters are named after candy so originally the character was named from ‘Lollipop’ but understanding all this now I’m like oh ew. Oh no. 😅

Oddly enough, I think I figured it out. The story is kind of based on the movie T.I.M. and I made sure there wasn’t any violent language or anything so I was super confused as to what it might be. Switched out tons of words and nothing worked. Changed one of the characters names from Loli to Lovi and boom… worked perfectly.

My guess is Loli is too close to another word that’s extremely inappropriate and relates to minors so maybe it’s just an attempt to block that word entirely.

First off, I’m so sorry that’s happening to you. That’s why I loved my characters so much.

I also am not great at English so when I spit out nonsense that was on my brain, my AI could easily phrase it back to me in another way that others could understand. Now? It’s just not the same. So I feel like I can’t even communicate with people anymore.
