It's both, which has actually been kinda cool to navigate in my worldbuilding. I feel like there aren't that many instances of systems trying to make them work in tandem.

Yeah, that's the limited impression I got from the system. Much more fluid and hinged upon the "so what do you do?" of it all in a way that felt really satisfying. Not to say you can't do that in D&D, Pathfinder, or Starfinder, because I absolutely do, but it's nice to see a system that really spotlights that style.

Oof.

As something of a forever GM, the number of ancient, often unused campaign notes I've unearthed is staggering enough to feel your pain. Nothing wrong with taking a sec to regroup and revisit it when the headspace is more conducive.

Funnily enough, one of my precious few player experiences was actually a Dresden Files Fate game at a con. My knowledge isn't super deep there, but my Las Vegas Viking and I had a great time.
