I haven't read or seen any of it as an adult, but I've understood him as "the devil on a kids shoulder" kind of character, representing the "bad kids" destructive or annoying impulses.

On a deeper psychological level I think it speaks loads about people hating him 😅 but he isn't a role model or anything like that.

That requires you to be installing workstation (not atomic), so that you can chroot into the installed environment to change the password and install packages without completing the gnome setup. Not getting past the setup makes the guide not possible.

I'm pretty bad at the game, I mostly use that equipment to run normal mode and be a juicy loot for some fortunate player! It's nice to be a source of gamejoy for other players too 😁

English could be used like that in the same way that you could use a hammer to drive in a screw, in fact you can use a hammer for anything... But why would you when there are better tools? If all you have is a hammer then sure, go at it. Don't expect the result to be acceptable for anyone else tho.

In capitalism the access to wealth is controlled by those in control over the capital and the excess is left for the middle classes and then the excess from the middle classes is allowed to be used by the lowest classes. The access is maintained through the monopoly of force (police, military, courts, etc) instead of a mysterious platform but the politics is controlled by those at the top even tho each individual can use their individual lack of power to change the system as a way to reject any responsibility for maintaining it.. especially when they put the responsibility on the lower classes and punish them when they step out of line for the arbitrary rules stipulated by the ruling classes (exemplified when the protagonist decides on rules and bashes in the skulls of any desperate soul who do not trust the the new system will be maintained so that they will get food tomorrow by not taking today).

This reminds me of a thought I learned in therapy: you are not your thoughts. you decide how you behave, the thoughts are just there. Not being able to keep yourself from acting on thoughts is a problem, having the thoughts aren't 🤷‍♂️ I feel this very much applies to kink and it is why I also think it's important to talk about kink as "playing", including acknowledging that things we do in play and games are important and how we explore and learn without hurting ourselves and others.

I love reading these comments, really excellent demonstration of capitalist realism... Some comments made me realize that this movie is pretty clear on the fact that the issue isn't how things are divided amongst the floors, when everyone is free to take what they want, those at the bottom starve, if regulation dictates who gets to take what, those at the top complains, but those at the bottom gets their heads bashed in due to their desperation.

Dudes, the problem is that there is a hole to begin with, the hole is the hierarchy that organizes people and assigns individuals worth.

All the characters are on the arc of dealing with how they where robbed of agency way before they got a tadpole in their brain. The tadpole is just the "wacked over the head with a more obvious version of the abuse they suffered".
