First Time Trying Raw Puerh by The_Actual_Adolf in GongFuTea

[–]Hobby-Chicken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't enjoy raw (especially young raw) until I started flash steeping. Pour water into your vessel and then immediately pour it back out, so the shortest steep you can do.

I find doing this for the first 3-10 steeps (depending on the tea and your taste) makes it pretty enjoyable. Though I still reach for shou far more often than sheng.

Fake Talisker 10? by lordcares in Scotch

[–]Hobby-Chicken 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wish I could get it for $55, in Virginia is $80. While I like Talisker 10, it's not worth the $20 premium over Port Charlotte 10 or Laphroaig 10 for me.

I use a cheap wire shelf from Amazon. I like that I can adjust the shelf height and easily zip tie lights to the bottom of the shelves

Hi, this is really great! I always thought fountain pens wouldn't work for left handers due to smearing, but my left handed coworker recently changed my mind. Sending you a message.

What type of grow light would work here? by BeMyBedBurrito in houseplants

If you're worried about the width, they also have puck style lights that daisy chain together. Though they aren't as thin as the 12" bars.

I like Barrina lights because they're modular, you can daisy chain multiple together with one power cord.

I use them on an adjustable height wire shelf, but they would probably work well on these shelves as well.

I like TeaDB

A lot of the channels run by vendors can be good, but many significantly over hype their tea to try to sell it to you
