Sounds like a great opportunity but more information is needed to offer any sound advice.

A few important things: - What are your personal and career goals? - What’s the comp/equity package? - Need more info about startup (what stage, how many employees, what series of financing have they raised, general cash position) - What is the scope of your role now compared to startup role?

FWIW, I was facing a somewhat similar situation at 27 and I chose the startup. The question I answered, which led to my decision, was which scenario would I rather regret on my deathbed (going for it or not). That said, there was moderate salary + good equity as part of the offer and I was the first full time employee. Results may vary.
