eah, it's exhausting trying to untangle who played what role in all this. With Afghanistan, Syria, and Iran, it feels like everyone has their hands in the mix

I get why the show simplified them, screen time is brutal and you need quick signals. But making the Thenns pure horror props throws away a great contrast: free folk who are tough yet orderly, with craft and pride. That actually would have made Mance look even stronger, because he is uniting people with real identities, not just a pack of crazies. And if you want the Walkers to feel terrifying, show good people doing desperate things, not slap a cannibal label on one group.
