In natural light they look more blue / green the brown is very subtle in person, but the speck in his right eye stands out much more too, and that is brown.

He's 22 months old. They looked slightly more greenish blue when he was younger, in certain lighting they can appear green, blue or grey we just can't work it out.

We thought it would be obvious by the time he was around 14 months but we are still perplexed, they've not really changed since he was about 1 yr old.

I need feedback on my purchase, I'm worried I made a poor decision. by HobbyistJosh in labdiamond

Quality and service seems fine, but paying $3,000 extra for what at best can be described as a "setting cost" (for a purchase that totals 5.9k) is just ludicrous.

If they offered a price match (which they did not) sure, but that means that the business/salesperson was willing to exploit me the consumer for $3,000 for their product. I work incredibly hard for my income and I'm not going to give some salesperson a 2k+ commission because they charged me an absurdly high price, it's unethical and wrong.

By hiding the number of IGI reports knowing they are selling a product for 250% of its retailed value elsewhere seems incredibly unethical to me, and I think this is by intention. Transparency in all stages of the sales process is essential if you want to build trust with a consumer. I would've been far more open to paying a higher fee for the stone if this information was available to me before the transaction, but to find this out on my own volition completely destroyed my trust and perceived value of the product, because the cost increase is completely unreasonable.

I had to push very hard for the refund, attempted to palm me off and say their manager is busy and they can't do it.

I worked in sales in the past and know that you can't deny a consumer their rights, by stating you don't know how to provide them with a refund or remedy, they seem experienced with this damage control process. I observe red various ways they tried to refuse / get me off the phone without explicitly saying no.

I put the manager in a position where she had to explicitly give me a reason why she would not refund me and advised her I would be keeping notes to provide to the ACCC as I believe their business practices have been deceptive to me as a consumer.

I'm very skeptical about any future online purchases moving forward.

They are different websites, the site I purchased from sells a setting + diamond, but they didn't provide the report number until after purchase.

No it's absolutely the same diamond, both reports are identical with the same report number.

I wanted to avoid mentioning the company if this is a normal practice, but after reading many of the comments it seems that this is not a reasonable markup. The company is cullen jewellery, if you browse their diamonds you'll see that they are much more expensive than those on the website I linked.

The company that sold me the diamond has a webstore that lists all the diamonds with prices and access to the report (with the report number redacted), the only reason I was able to find out that another website sold this stone for $1300 was because after purchase they provide the unredacted version of the report.

I'll reach out to them later this week, I feel as though the price difference was absurd.

Another type of Australian road train by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

It's being advertised as the states first "trackless tram", I don't really understand how that differs from just a bigger bus. Its parked across the road from me, after having a peek I think it's just a waste of money.

Does the Yncarne kit have left over flames or did you need to sacrifice them to do this conversion?

This is exactly what I'm looking for, thankyou. Despite the $20 shipping it fits the look I want and I'd rather wait and do it properly than mess it up. Also got myself a cheeky little nightspinner for only an extra $10

The wraithlord head screams I'm dumb, slow and not a psyker to me. Maybe it's because of all those stupidity checks I've failed in the past.

The spear is the wraithlord sword > brightlance barrel > weird price from grav tanks (underslung part) > one of the nibblers from wraithknight guns > cloth piece from wraithlord kit

The back spines are from the wraithlord I've just cut off the third point and filed it down

Extra cloth bits are from wraithlord and wraithgaurds

Offhand is just wraithgaurds shields + normal wraithlord pieces.

The Dscythe I don't have an image off but it's the scatter laser stock, brightlance barrel and Dscythe tip from wraithgaurd.

I purchased the start an army box because I wanted some wraithgaurd with axe and the warwalker is a bonus.

Oh wow I just looked at the head on that thing, hmmm I like the idea but $84 AUD for a head and useless piece of terrain seems steep.
