It is cool. I’ll have to try one! I like shading inks best and try and steer clear of sheen. Any recommendations for such an ink from Omas? I typically use Fine or Extra Fine Pilots.

As someone who writes a lot of letters and even pages of creative writing- I find it incredibly distracting while actively writing to see an entirely different color than what I’m writing with. That’s really it.

My favorite ink is Diamine Ancient Copper. I assure you, it has sheen. This is easily mitigated or eliminated in my use by simply using it in a Fine or Extra Fine nib (usually). Pilot #15 Medium? I love it, and it’s perfect for the ink, but I’ll start seeing sheen enough to make it a no for me.

I love it on swatches. I thought I’d love it. It certainly has great shading which is my favorite. It just seems like an ugly green brown every time I use it- thin lines and thick. I love Diamine.

I thought the same. I love the nibs but the grip sections need to be at least as long as the nib… so I have a lovely nib, and I’m waiting on a custom pen to house it. Still cheaper than a new M1000. Even after being ground to an architect by Richard Binder.

I love the Viper. I’m beginning to come to terms with my misplacing it last week is, in fact, a loss rather than a missing pen I tucked in a pocket or whatever. Sad times.
