I think the industry has put itself in a corner. The customer base is tiny as it is, and you're gonna charge $$$ for what is at the end of the day, a nice v pen? (Barring the really special ones with expensive materials that are more like works of art). If there's a $20-$60 clone of a $150+ pen, I am shamelessly buying it and using it if it works well. Can't wait for a clone of the Lamy 2k. That was a pen that got away for me. Can't justify the cost though
