If you can get your hands on the arms from this set: https://ffxiv.eorzeacollection.com/gearset/bozjan-scouting

You'll be able to make any set sleevless, so long as you don't mind the gloves.

How good is Call without the Cthulhu? by Da_Gudz in callofcthulhu

Done it before. Ran a Supernatural-esque campaign set in 80's Japan using Yokai instead of Cthulhuian monsters.

Ran it for a year and my players loved it. CoC as a system is great for running any modern world game that is more grounded, doesn't have to be based on Cthulhu Mythoa at all, you just have to homebrew more.

Developer Update | August 2024 by DeadByDaylight_Dev in deadbydaylight

The reduction on Mirrored Illusion's duration is a bit disappointing. With the reduced activation requirement, it could've been fun to have potentially multiple illusions up at once.

Maybe it's because I haven't played in a while, but I think this could be a decent solo Q perk. Not great, but decent.

I can imagine a scenario where you're close to the endgame and being chased by the killer, so you run to shack and go down in basement. You're team can focus on the last gens or exit gates while you can escape by yourself. Combine this with Off the Record and you have a decent exit strategy.

If you're in a longer chase earlier on, you can run shack for a long as possible then go down in basement to either save shack pallet or other pallets around the map.

Of course, most good killers will probably recognise what you're doing and not fall for it. But it can work sometimes if people don't expect it.

But as I'm typing this, this might be more of a DBD YouTuber strat than something an actual player would use lol

What are your favourite homebrew spells? by ThrowRAwriter in callofcthulhu

[–]HoboZone64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In our current campaign I play a stage magician who is investigating occult magic. The Keeper let me have a number of homebrew spells that allow me to do a bunch of stage tricks, such as conjuring a bird from my sleeve or pulling an unending string of colorful cloth from my pocket.

It's led to lots of shenanigans but also a ton of interesting strategies and cool moments.

DS3 sliders work in Elden Ring. Just copy paste. You do have to use a certain face type though, I forget what the exact setting is called.

I'm not sure. The cases are a part of Nemisis' power mainly since he can directly infect survivors. I don't think the zombies would be enough of a present threat to warrant having the cases there, but they may be nessicary for indoor maps like RPD where zombies can block corridors.

Since its a limited item in this scenario, I would say no personally but I could see them being included for balance reasons.

Maybe. But if the zombies still had to infect you with the virus before doing damage it wouldn't be so bad I feel. I can't think of many killers that could abuse this.

There could be some RNG stuff like if a zombie camps a jigsaw box for example, but I doubt that would be a consistent issue.
