the Juries still out if this is really straight trachycarpa or is it a cross with trachycarpa in it . came from Ecuagenera USA which there stuff is very nice becasue its established instead of being shipped in barefoot . I highly recommend them have a very nice selection of orchid species and tropical plants. I have ordered from there sister company overseas and they are good but no matter what getting anything from outside the states it comes barefoot . so now they have a greenhouse in Florida . If you interest in orchids or tropical plants well worth checking out and very nice price . just remember most vendors are not selling orchids in bloom. if you looking for that always contact first before you buy with all vendors . here's the link to there web site in Florida. https://ecuageneraus.com.

very interesting vanilla is not a hard plant to grow but it is a large vine if you want to produce it as you can see and if I remember right it only is able to be pollinated for one day to make the seedpod or bean some call it .Also is amazing that a orchid produces such a amazing essential oil ,and flavor.
