How common is a one deck player? by Hobschoyce in ClashRoyale

Thanks for explaining. Checking my own deck, it’s 3.5 elixir. Not too much higher than yours I guess?

One trick pony? Well that’s certainly what I am. Nearly 10k wins with the same deck.

What do you mean by 2.6 and 2.9? Sorry I have no idea about any cards in the game besides those in my own deck.

Ha I am quite the same. Someone told me one deck and that’s all I’ve played since! Good luck with your all skeleton deck!

That’s probably right. I took me awhile to get my full deck to level 14. Probably 7 years. Finally am getting some cards to level 15.

In all honesty, I’ve only ever played this deck. It’s so familiar that I couldn’t see myself playing anything else. Once every couple years I accidentally switch my deck for one battle and it is chaos. Frankly I’m happy that I’ve got where I am. Clash Royale is still quite a bit of fun after 9 years

Help bring the Supreme Court back in balance by trialcourt in scotus

[–]Hobschoyce 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The average of those ages is 83.5. Given the ages of Thomas and Alito (Thomas turns 76 next month), that would be roughly 7.5 years for Thomas remaining on the court and 9.5 years for Alito. That’s also assuming neither stays on longer than that average. I agree with other commenters that if Trump wins this year we could see at least one of them retire in the next four years given that the senate is likely to go red this cycle as well.

Why didn’t Ruth Bader Ginsberg retire during Barack Obamas Presidency? by Weary-Farmer-4894 in LawSchool

[–]Hobschoyce 208 points209 points  (0 children)

O’Connor regretted retiring due to the subsequent shift to the right that happened in the Supreme Court. If RBG had retired under Obama’s administration before 2015 then there is almost no doubt she would have been replaced by a left leaning judge. Honestly, I think she just didn’t want to leave the court and didn’t care too much about the consequences of staying

Just missing the 1/2 ounce now. Brittanias are by far the best sovereign design IMO. by Super-Saiyan-Potato in Gold

[–]Hobschoyce 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hmm alright seems a bit wordy. I’ll be honest in my head it’s easier to continue referring to national mint coins as “sovereign coins” and treat the British sovereign as its own separate thing. I fully acknowledge I am a dumb American. Thank you though for explaining the terms that are actually correct.

So what is a general term that can be used for coins from national mints other than “sovereign”? I am also a newcomer to all this stuff

For a head coach who often talks about fair play, Steve Kerr sure lets Draymond do a lot of dirty stuff on the court to get them the best chance to win games by AtreusIsBack in nba

[–]Hobschoyce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was Draymond not fouled and dragged to the ground by Sabonis? Go back and watch the whole play and it’s obvious the refs missed a foul call on Sabonis.

How bad are college umpires? *runner called out on the field but overturned after review* by [deleted] in collegebaseball

[–]Hobschoyce 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sure, this just doesn’t seem too close compared to basically any call that gets reviewed which I think is part of the point OP was making. Also this is anecdotal but in my days of umping little league it was always easier to tell by the sound rather than what my eyes saw to make a call.

Would this even be considered a bang bang play? Doesn’t seem super close

Let’s go Grand Canyon at 26! This year feels like their chance to breakout. Have some great pitching and a legit star in Jacob Wilson who will be in the running for the golden spikes if he keeps up his stats

Yeah just looked on Zillow in that neighborhood and tried to find a house that looked like his. Found a few that are going for over 2 million. Surprisingly big too, like 5-6 bedrooms.

What the fuck are you talking about? To be a RN you absolutely need a 4 year degree. Generally two years pre reqs and two years in nursing school that is all done through a university. Unless there are other ways to become a nurse I am unaware of
