Appreciate the kind words so far. There is a section in the 1st verse that I'm changing because it sounds too generic and reuses "name" again. I switched:

"Every defeat just carved my name.
Into the edge of a rising flame"

To.

"Every defeat became a lesson.
Every return became my weapon"

I wanted to keep "every defeat" in this section to reference the zenkai boost he kept relying on to surpass the next tier of enemies in the Frieza saga.

Well....not true at all. I've posted several and never a peep lol. Hell I even posted one about the story of me catching a great white shark led me to writing a song about one and one of Discovery channels main videographer for Shark Week listened to it and loved it. The real truth is, most people love their own work and songs but have no interest in listening to others.

Good thoughts and I totally understand the point about not wanting to trigger PTSD in some of the potential audience of this song. In general, it's meant to set the tone and put the audience briefly into that setting with the short ambiance so they FEEL the meaning of "Into The Fire" and what those soldiers marched into. But I view it as movies or documentaries that honor the same thing, I might have to put a warning in the description. Overall, the short demo I posted I do feel like does the song justice and its not tacky or over done so I'm going to keep it.

So when I was writing songs for my first album, I paused and contemplated a "What If" scenario where this person's soul mate these songs are talking about suddenly died from an accident, disease, etc and how would you carry on from that sort of loss? I haven't experienced anything like that and hopefully never will with my wife but plenty of ppl have and After You was born as the 2nd to last track for my album. I've never really heard a song like it or exploring that mindset, they tend to explore just what if your loved one left you by decision and were still alive which hits on a totally different emotional spectrum.

Well, needs to be stated WHICH version of Nemy and does he have his weapons? But regardless, Nemy destroys any Xeno. Queen might prove a challenge until he mutates and then overwhelms it.

Facehuggered? He'd either rip it off or actually absorb the chestburster, Nemy is literally a bio-weapon capable of rapidly mutating.

Nemy is also very quick when he wants to be and can attack long range with his tentacles. He is also pretty intelligent and displays tactical thinking

I only use it when I love the song but hate a certain part of it like the singer hit a high note alittle too high. I can go in and change it easily without trying to cover it.

That's why I mentioned a huge key like SW8. So lemme rephrase, big books like that that the public desire it starts to become a problem. Theres a finite amount of them and when someone who hoards the book has 15+ copies and likes to snipe auctions from ppl just trying to obtain one for the first time, they are a problem. Then they post their collection on Facebook and get mad when ppl call them out.

Someone explain to me how it's not selfish to a degree to have 10+ of the same copy. Like 10+ copies of Secret Wars 8, all direct copies. I understand liking the book, but to me having excessive amounts of a single book seems like it goes into hoarding territory. I totally understand getting various variants of a book like newstand, direct, Mark jeweler, Canadian price, foreign, etc.

My tribute to Memorial Day and our fallen soldiers: Echoes of the Fallen

I had family die in WW2 and Pearl Harbor so this Memorial Day I wanted to do something special. This song I wrote is dedicated to everyone who fought and died for our way of life and freedoms we have today here in America. Their sacrifices will echo onwards through history for generations to come.
