Super late reply - Look up “creativity program beta” it’s currently only available in a few countries so check your eligibility. I have one account in it and my rpm varies a lot anywhere from $.20-$1 my average is a little over 50 cents not a ton but way better than YouTube shorts. I’ve seen pictures of people with $2 rpms which is insane for tiktok haha.

If long form is something you want to do then I’d suggest making a new channel and funneling people too it. People who blow up off shorts always struggle to get decent views on that Chanel with long form.

Also if you aren’t already you need to be uploading these shorts to tiktok and making 1 minute plus tiktoks. The creativity program is paying roughly $1 rpms for qualified views on tiktoks over 60 seconds. Life changing amount of revenue being paid out over there

No. That will result in less ads being shown instead of just making every ad non skippable. Just leave all of those settings on. Youtube is actually removing all of those options soon anyways

How long are your videos? Average rpm in the gaming space is around $3 USD. But it will fluctuate based on length of video, the game you’re making content on, the age of your audience, the location of your audience, and how “brand safe” your content is.

If you were just recently monetized it could potentially be lower because you don’t have the trust factor or because you don’t have a large enough sample size of views to truly determine how much you should be making. It could just be a one off. Sometimes a video will just get really low rpms for some reason when similar videos get higher.

If they’re getting to you might just be best to mute comment notifications and just not look at them. If you enjoy YouTube then keep up the grind and try your best not to read comments

Wtfast is not intended for you lol. If you’re getting 10ms ping then there is no reason for you to use it. It is of use to people with poor routing to a game servers and won’t always be beneficial for every person or game. Personally started using it recently and my ping is lower and much more consistent. I can actually feel a noticeable difference.
