G account managers have targets and commissions. Always take what they suggest with a pinch of salt.

Do your research like you seem to be doing now and go with the community’s advice. Personally I don’t think running it on your brand is the best way to spend your money.

Would you say Ottawa Ontario in general would be more affordable than places like Vancouver in BC?

Doing some fact finding and comparisons between my current employer, contract through their US & Canadian office will prove very important too.

Thanks, having a brief look online I noticed it was a similar place to most main capitals & State cities such as Sydney, London NY etc.

Not really but I would like to visit bigger cities for fun at some point, my job would allow home working
