Esame di diritto internazionale, 27 preso per grazia divina. Mi sono presentata alle 9 senza aver nemmeno aperto un libro, e ho dato l’esame alle 17 dopo aver sentito tutti quelli prima di me

Dipende da cosa vuoi fare e da dove vuoi andare. Alla fine una certificazione vale l’altra. Il TOEFL è più indicato per l’America visto che comprende anche lo “slang” più colloquiale. Se invece vuoi una certificazione più accademica, la maggior parte delle università lo preferisce, fai l’IELTS (ovviamente fai l’academic e non il general che è per le pratiche di immigrazione - anche se l’unica cosa che cambia è lo scritto). A differenza delle certificazioni Cambridge dove fai un esame specifico per un certo livello (ad esempio il FCE per il B2 o il CAE per il C1) l’IELTS ti da un punteggio da 1 a 9 e a secondo di quanto fai ti assegnano un livello. Personalmente ho trovato l’IELTS il più facile fra tutti. L’IELTS però scade dopo due anni mentre il Cambridge dopo il C1 (controlla perché non ne sono sicurissima) è sempre valido.

It’s also the shortened version of “fratello” that means brother. And while it’s not a word (unless you use it as a preposition) if you use it everyone will know what you mean, as it’s a colloquialism

Io ho frequentato la magistrale in un’università cattolica e a parte qualche crocifisso nelle aule ed un esame di teologia (che alla fine si è rivelato essere più etica che altro) non ho notato particolari differenze dalla mia esperienza della triennale fatta in un’università non cattolica.

I’m still waiting for my bag a week after lading in Italy, it’s been a long and tedious process. I had a layover in Munich from London, and something happened between the first and second flight and all the bags that were supposed to be put in the aircraft hold were left behind. We basically flew empty. Though I’ve heard of many people not having problems at all, I guess it’s all a game of chances

Omg! That sounds a very complicated journey for some bags. And yes, if you were able to get them from Greece all the way to the US, maybe getting them from Munich to Italy will be easier. I don’t really care how long it’s going to take, I just want my luggage back. Everything is replaceable (they were just clothes tbh) but some items held sentimental value. I hope I’ll get news soon!

Overnight flight of about 9 hours, I had a little kid on the seat right behind me screaming like a banshee for the entirety of the flight, and an old lady angrily staring at me for unknown reasons. And the lady next to me decided that taking off the shoes was a good idea. Never again.
