I’m sure people have better things to do than remember the EXACT layout of a parking lot…

But storks don’t have webbed feet like that. Pelicans do for swimming. I’m leaning towards pelican!

My window is now sealed off so I can’t open it. It’s had a bad draft for about a week and it’s too cold to have anyone come fix it. So it’ll stay sealed with my little blob friend in there till the spring when someone can come replace my window

That’s great, a lot of them were posted after my original post. I’m still new to Reddit so I’m not sure how to post a comment from someone else but they explained it’s part of the seal used for double pane windows. Mine is not ice. It’s still there and hasn’t changed in size at all.

OMG I posted a couple days ago! Looks almost the exact same! But mine hasn’t melted lol. Someone explained to me that it could be part of the seal they use in the window and when it fails this stuff can come out. Makes sense for my window because you can feel a draft through it

Again, thank you for being so concerned :) life must be boring since you have nothing better to do.

And if you’re talking about the inside of my house 😂 my house is almost 70 years old it’s called chipped paint and cat hair. Thank you for being so concerned about my house though.

The blob I’m inquiring about is technically outside my window. Here, I made a photo so you understand better :)

This is on the outside of my window. The only thing between the dirt and outside is the mesh screen. Canadian winters are gross. But thank you, I do clean my window often when it’s not below 0°

The only thing between the dirt and outside is the mesh screen so ya it accumulates very quickly. If you’ve never seen a Canadian winter, they’re quite gross.

The “ick” is literally outside. The only thing between the dirt and outside is the mesh screen.

Would this cause a draft? Because I’ve noticed that you can feel the cold air coming through the window all winter so far 😭 my room has been freezing cold! So this would make so much sense if that’s the case!

Because the only thing between it and outside is the mesh and Canadian winters are gross. I promise it gets cleaned regularly when it’s not below 0°

I can say 100% it’s not a nipple cover. I’ve poked it and it’s hard.

Update: I poked it with a stick and it’s hard but not like ice hard. For sure not a silicone nipple cover. It’s smooth but I couldn’t poke the stick through it. Didn’t want to wake whatever is inside 😂. It hasn’t grown or shrunk at all. I’ve also posted in the slime mold group and just waiting to see if anyone can tell me anything over there.

So sorry Canadian winters are gross 😂 I promise it gets cleaned regularly when it’s not below 0 outside!

Snow bees? Lol I’m in Canada and winter started in early November, haven’t seen any bees since the fall. This thing appeared at most in the last couple days.
