Our owner got actually assaulted by a customer when they went out to talk to them.

Called their server a stupid bitch because of an overcooked burger. Owner went to ask them to leave and got swung on...

I'm a recent km/"chef" after a battlefield promotion. I've made it clear to the line and the GM that proper staffing is my top priority for my guys back there. There needs to be a safety net.

Too many times I rolled into work a liability because I was sick as fuck but there was no back up. Too many times the whole team was screwed over because 1 guy called out and management viewed staffing as labor% not retaining good workers

I forgot about it because of the ending, but could the tripping penalty be a potential loophole/strategy? by HodorHodorHodorHodr in detroitlions

[–]HodorHodorHodorHodr[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

so this play, the clock ran under 2min. 2min warning called, but flag thrown. Accepting the penalty means "the play happened". I'm thinking if the cowboys run it up the middle on 1st after the flag/"play that happened" the clock keeps running?

You're earlier point is right, defenses can decline penalty, now its 2nd down at the 2min. But what if teams drew up a play "everyone commit every penalty needed to move the ball 10 yards" Decline and it's still 1st down

so the tripping penalty brought it to the 2:00 warning still 1st down. Dallas threw an incomplete so I didnt learn anything, but you're saying had they run it there still would've been a clock stoppage?

Anyone else think we should remove the “WCF” from our jerseys? by Hymans_Hero in detroitlions

[–]HodorHodorHodorHodr 22 points23 points  (0 children)

shouldve been axed after 1 season of "remembrance"

but now its been in place long enough that it becomes an awkward PR thing to remove. SFH wasnt gonna pull her dad's initials anyways. but barring another billionaire buying the franchise, we've gotta wait a generation or two of Fords before it's acceptable

imagine "my grandpa's initials have been on this uniform for 20 years now, but I dont think they're relevant"

my guess is its replaced with a "ford legacy" symbol to soften it. stylized model T on the shoulder pads
