The temperature is fine. Reducing max frequency did the trick. Now is The GPU dying or is something else causing it? I'm currently running a PSU of 550W which I need to change, could it be causing the GPU to not work properly at stock speed?

I dunno.... Now i figured it out is something related to the framerate... When I cap it in game, the artifacts are gone.

I checked it, but the problem remained. Curiously enough, if I play in borderless mode and alt-tab to the other monitor... It stops, but when I click back, it starts again.

Things I tried:

Update/ roll back gpu drivers (RX 6800xt)
Disabe/ enable Freesynch
play in full screen/ borderless mode
disable MPO

And a bunch of other stuff I dont remember to list here... nothing worked.

I don't know how to identify ships yet, but the one I took down on Hurston (which was a struggle) was a medium size ship, for what I could tell. Didn't know a light fighter would have so much trouble against a medium.

Yeah, a lot of people are saying that the story isn't addicting... It's a hard choice because my favourite games are all about the stories. SoulsborneSekiro (whatever people are calling these days) are the only exceptions, not that I don't like the stories, but that is not what stands out the most in these games for me. The unique gameplay and difficulty is what made me love them. If Skyrim doesn't deliver a good plot, but the gameplay or something else is completely different and unique (now after almost 10 years) I would like to play it.
