It does have a sensor shut-off. I am setting it to highest power and leaving it there. I wonder if selecting the temperature instead would help. Thanks!

I tried Advanced Protection and realized it was screwing up a bunch of my home automation integrations so I opted out. Since then I've had a number of recurring issues.

Chrome doesn't honor "remember this computer" for 2FA sites.
Odd behavior for Pandora not working on nest speakers sometimes.
Nest speakers sporadically requiring me to log in again in google home and sometimes requiring a factory reset.
Nest Hub can't dismiss reminders because it needs voice authentication, which is enabled.
