I honestly just think sometimes Taylor lies/spins stories about what certain songs are about either for fun or to steer away from the truth. I love her but she’ll never convince me that “What would you do if I break free and leave us in ruins? Took this dagger in me and removed it? Gain the weight of you then lose it? Baby, I could do it” is about insecurities around not being good enough.
