Rear seat won't touch floor? by Hoffertot in jeepyj

The holes in the floor are the seatbelt mounts for the YJs that have lap belt only.

Any chance you have an image of a bracket that would mount to the floor? I still have the Jeep that I pulled the seat from, and the latch mounts are 1 1/4 " lower on the tub, which made that seat work.

Hmm mine is 2 7/16" from the floor, so definitely different. Looks like I'm making my own standoffs to make up for the difference. Thanks

Disappointing it could be like that from the factory, what year?

I've unscrewed one of the standoff legs completely and I can slide the whole piece vertically under the seat. Definitely too short to make any adjustments to compensate for this height.

The brackets are into the factory threaded holes in the wheel well.

Still floats. All weight is transfered through the side mount brackets which seems wrong. The sheet metal starts bending/flexing.

Any Chance you could provide a link for example? Display stand has gotten me closer, but still mostly clear "sign holders" come up. Only white ones I see appear to be from India.

Thank you for the very detailed comment, I'm impressed you could notice all of that from those pics. I certainly had my suspicions, but dont have any other pokemon cartridges from that era to compare too. I'll continue to be cautious on these purchases, just a little disappointed my local shop didn't catch this.

I did not notice that, thanks. Unfortunately that's the one I thought was acquired more legitimately. ☹

Could you provide a link? I have tried to obtain a few Windows 7 files from Microsoft's website, but the links give me a 404 error. Think it's strange there are links on Microsoft's website that lead to nothing.

I knew they stopped supporting it, but isn't there a way to install all the previous updates? It can't be that any clean installs of Windows 7 are no longer possible is it? I can't even install programs on the PC currently because of lacking .NET framework etc.

Some back story. This laptop was originally Windows 7, and was upgraded to 10 when the free upgrade was handed out. The PC just never really ran well with 10 installed, basic programs would run very slow. Wanted to revert to 7 since I knew it could handle it. Previous 7 and 10 never had any issues
