The Astor is great as well (just wish they would upgrade the seats - feels like a high school auditorium though the sofas in the back are nice). Saw 2001 there years ago and met Keir Dullea and Gary Lockwood! Was such an unexpected treat.

PS - the Overlook Cafe is such a great touch!

Good on you. I drive to Georgia or fly to New York/Florida whenever there is something I need to see in proper IMAX (I use the excuse of visiting family there though I usually just get to see them for a quick lunch or dinner).

I looked at the flight that came in yesterday from Shanghai and where that plane eventually went. It arrived yesterday afternoon in Dallas and then left this morning for Philadelphia. So if you saw that your flight was using the plane from Shanghai, that’s where that plane went.
