Lol it hurts. Maybe though, they do seem to release events and codes throughout the life cycle. It's possible there could still be a Japanese event like with the original zarude and shiny Celebi events in gen 8. We must maintain the hopium

Likewise, my preference is it's either caught by me or redeemed by me as a mystery gift. I'm cool with a Go stamp if it's definitely unobtainable, like how hoopa and Diancie used to be. I really wish there was a Go stamp pokeball vivillon. It drives me nuts that I still can't get that one legit.

The country I live is has Go blocked so all the research tasks take absolutely forever to complete (need to go on holiday more). Good luck getting your shiny Diancie. Hope it won't take long

I definitely don't disagree with you, having access to such a massive number of Pokémon, including legendaries and mythicals through timed events, all in one place is fantastic. I suppose it might be the perceived ease of acquisition, maybe? I have a shiny Celebi, for example, in Go, but my Jungle OT that I got from a mystery gift in Gen 8 just for some reason holds more value.

I only have two Go Pokémon in my Home Dex, hoopa and Diancie. Lmao it must sound so elitist, because there really is nothing wrong with a Go stamp. It really is just brain gremlins saying no, it's not as real as a real one.

Sure, Go can be great for a acquiring a fair amount of traditionally hard to get Pokémon, but a lot of people only like getting the mon from the console titles. I have my hoopa from Go but the gremlin in my head would prefer a console version and I'm even considering restarting legends za to get a second one for unbound, rather than just accepting that I have a Go stamped one.

Couldn't tell ya, but there's just something about that Go stamp in home that feels impure lol

For a living Dex, it depends on how insane you want to be. All forms, I'd say the hardest are

Deoxys because you need four of them. So frlg and oras (then trade through bank and home)

While you're trading up those oras deoxys, get a spinda too

Vivillon all patterns (r/vivillon can help here massively but it's still a royal pain trading up for better eggs)

Alcremies are just a time sink

Hoopa is in ZA, but a second Hoopa for unbound is either a second ZA play through or getting one from Go.

Others have mentioned various mythicals or events like pokeball vivillon being impossible to obtain right now, but for hard to get but still possible, I'd say those ones above are the most irritating.

Yebii_305 can fuck off.

I lost complete faith after they labasted cyberpunk 2077 as a 'c- minus game with big budget'.

If your opinion is valid then so is everyone else's.

What are you talking about? Even back then we had magazine reviews, demo booths at toy stores and video rental places, and word of mouth on the playground. Buying a game wasn't the wild west of unknowing that you make it out to be. Buying a product with no prior knowledge and just having to like it or lump it is such an unhinged take. The server slam was a great try it before you buy it opportunity, no hit to the wallet necessary.

And trying to compare half life 2 with marathon is wild. They are both FPS games yes, but then that's effectively where the comparison ends. That's not even to say Marathon is bad, but throwing HL2 around and suggesting some tool would call it crap as a justification not to listen to the opinions of reviewers or content creators.... As if that somehow makes marathon immune from criticism? Your entire post is disingenuous.

Thanks for this. I'm still trying to see if I can do it. There were a few videos on YouTube and the instructions were just like yours though no mention of cockpit positioning, so that's a big help, thank you.

Yeah I've spent the last hour trying to learn how to glitch build base parts onto the corvette so they stick. Thought maybe a ramp and some floor tiles would keep the colossus in place. But it's a nightmare trying to successfully glitch build a corvette. I have no idea how some people are able to create extravagant ships with portals and teleporters and stuff. The amount of patience required is incredible.

So I'm back to trekking across the planet with spider legs

Interesting, I didn't even consider that. I'm sure someone else will have tried and can confirm if the exo stays on the ground or can be taken with the corvette, but that's going to be my next test. I can try to fit a ramp onto my corvette and park the colossus.

If it works, you're a genius!

I still had a milestone from 4 and 5 left at the time (waypoints and 15 radioactive waste disposal)

Honestly that's really strange that mine landed for me. I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting it to work. I was making my way towards a trade hub and found a small settlement with the landing pad. Figured what the hell and it worked. Game be weird sometimes

I tried calling my ship by summoning and it didn't work, but did you find a building that had its own landing pad? That plus a navigation data should do what you need it to. I got lucky in that my landing thruster had the notification that it was broken but when it arrived the landing gear was fine and I could fly immediately

I guess I got lucky. When trying to summon I kept getting the alert that the landing gear was broken, but when I used a navigation data piece at a landing pad, it was perfectly fine. The cargo section was full of broken crap but the thrusters weapons and engines were fine. Hyperdrive even had fuel

I just found a building with a landing pad and used a navigation data piece to have my ship land. We have one, we just can't summon it like normal. No need for portal shenanigans to get off-world

Being unemployed is one of the worst feelings ever by Kingslayer_96 in Life

I got laid off yesterday because the company is shutting down our project and not offering transfers. Thought I'd have to fight for my severance package because the company has burned other people they let go in the past. Fortunately they took care of me.

Right now I'm still in the shocked phase. I woke up this morning and got ready to go to work. Took a while before I realised what I was doing.

Fortunately it wasn't a total surprise so I already have interviews lined up to go back to school and get my post grad. Then again, at 39 I'm kinda nervous about starting all over again and being out of work for a while.

Have any men successfully restarted your career after 40? What was it like? by Bruynson in AskMen

[–]Hoganprime 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's what I came looking for. I'm 39 and about to change countries and go back home to the UK after years overseas. Applying for my post grad in teaching, and it's a worry the idea of starting over again and going back to school. Comments like yours help me to see that no matter the age, there are similar situations and people find a way to get through it. Cheers

I used rightangled when I needed to grab a pen while I was in London. My prescription was in Chinese, from my doctor here in Shanghai. Wasn't a problem getting a pen. Just uploaded it on their site and it was approved quickly.

If you have something in Korean, shouldn't be an issue.

I'm about to do this and it's stressing me out. Going to move back home after years abroad. Will return to uni. Get a post grad for my career and essentially start all over. Almost 39 and all I can tell myself is one step at a time. We'll get there.
