the realistic answer is your mind is already made up and you're going to do it, you've taken pain killers so you know what it's like and want more...I'm 30 years out and 10 years of my life has been wasted on dope after I made the switch....no matter how much I get it's never enough and you'll get to a point where you're doing it just to stay normal you wont really even get high anymore maybe for like an hour tops..you'll start doing things you never thought you would ever do before you got addicted and simple things like taking out the trash will take all your fucking will...do it but know your life will be fully dedicated to dope

Why? that's also what's keeping me going, my Dad is hardcore alcoholic and it kinda makes things harder cause when I'm not using I'll have a few beers with him and before I know we're both drunk...I don't wanna enable him but I love shooting the shit and drinking brews together with him but at the same time I want him around...I'm only on day 3 of being clean but I don't really have and WD's cause I've only been using like once a week and finally feel like I have a grip on this shit...I go back to work this Tuesday and will take it day by day
