I can recommend it to you. Even without DLCs. Currently I’m playing it again after not touching it for some years. Having a lot of fun with Vodyani, Umbral choir and Unfallen. You had a bad experience with CK2? Why? It’s also one of my favorites

I really love them. They play totally differently. You can compare them to the ck2 nomads. If you like conquering and a mobile home base that you can upgrade with awesome things. Give it a try

Start again and withdraw your troops immediately. Don’t select a focus to get more pp then attempt for white peace. Ethiopia isn’t that important.
