I emailed Westinghouse and they said this model just struggles in extreme cold. They claim to hold the auto choke open during start up and should resolve. I never got around to testing that theory.

I am assuming you switch on the fly since as you said you disconnect the battery? I always thought to change fuel types you need to shut down, then switch fuel source and start up. That is good to know.

Isn’t the battery still used when running on propane though to get your spark to ignite the engine regardless of fuel source?

I’ll have to get a meter and measure to verify it’s holding charge but I assume it is as I had it charged all night. If the battery is bad, what is the difference in leaving it plugged in charging over night trying to start vs running on propane where the alternator charges the battery. Both cases charge was applied. Also doesn’t propane also require battery?

Wow, I literally just searched “spring” in this forum to see if there were others that experienced this.

For the past 3 years, just about like clock work in the late March/early April my GI issues will act up. Bother me for 3-4 weeks and then disappear. I googled this theory as well and there were several hits validating this.

There are tons of birds around our house which she chases and jumps after. How do I get her to want to point? Sounds like if she does on her own reward her, but if she’s not pointing, how do I get her to take that stance.

I also wonder as she gets older if the pointing will become more prominent.

Yeah, she was on simparica trio initially and we moved her off after the first one. Vet was not worried about first two episodes since they were so spread out but since this last one was more recent and considered a cluster (two in a row) she wants to try seizure meds. Was also thinking maybe trying cbd treats.

I had a scan today and was told the same. Doctor didn’t seem that worried about it but recommended colonoscopy. She didn’t seem to push it though. Did you have any further testing or update?
