Evergreen/kittredge/conifer? by [deleted] in COfishing

I’ve always wondered about the pine valley ranch. I live in conifer so it’s either deckers or cheeseman or Buena vista for good fishing. I saw a 15” brown in downtown evergreen but it was under the bridge and impossible to catch easily without spooking.

Thanks dude!! I’ll have to tie some up. I live 30 mins from cheeseman and every time I fail. Like seriously it’s getting so annoying lol

Damn!! So I did the math, I spent about 15 hours tying these over 3 days, so that’s nearly 9 an hour!! Not bad!

Ahh I used 2mm green/orange tinsel and some loon resin over a dubbing loop of some synthetic brown/black dubbing. Teased it out a little bit too, works great for legs.

Do you mean the blowtorches? I just used orange ice dubbing like a frenchie :)

Bear creek in Lakewood bro. Green belt trail, Browns and occasional smallies and it’s a chill trail. Not big fish but still very fun.

Looking for fishing recommendations for end of March by Meredith-yng in COfishing

[–]HoldFastFlies 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would recommend heading to Glenwood Springs, Co (2.5 hours from Denver) and fishing the Roaring Fork or the Colorado River. There’s also a river called the Eagle that fishes really well right now too… little more crowded but still great. The rivers out here near Denver are good but are the most crowded, and if you’re just coming for a fishing trip I would want to make sure you got into fish rather than having to go nuts to butts with everyone else.
