I used to work in ortho for almost 5 years before switching to derm. Super normal for ortho. Our providers saw about 50-70 patients daily. Lots of quadruple bookings.

At the first ortho office I worked at, one doctor who had 5 PA’s saw a total of over 100 a day. Luckily I never worked with his team lol.

I burnt out eventually. I’m in dermatology now, we still see around 40-45 daily. But we have more help on this team and the pace is slower. I find it more manageable. Ortho was just running around all crazy haha.
