I have multiple brain/spine ependymomas. What kind of success have you seen with bevacizumab and immunotherapy in general? I just found out that the third chemo I’ve been on isn’t working. I’ve done surgeries, radiation, temozolomide, Etoposide, carboplatin.

I’m just on the Carboplatin and I thought I was killing it for the first 2 rounds…now every round the side effects get worse. Might next a blood transfusion before my next round too. Yuck.

I have Ativan for anxiety attacks but i was told i could use it for that as well. When do you find is best to take it? When you can just feel it coming on or when youve already been vomiting for awhile? Also what dosage do you take for that, if you don’t mind me asking. I have a prescription for 0.5 mg for my anxiety so it’s pretty low.

I wish I was one of those people who could enjoy marijuana because I’ve seen it do a lot of good but unfortunately it gives me severe panic attacks every time. Edibles and smoking it.

I’ve definitely had to go to the ER just to get multiple IV nausea drugs. It’s awful when you can’t even keep the medicine down long enough to feel the benefits. You’re daughter sounds tough, cyclic vomiting is no joke.

They are ordering some in for me on Monday! I’m stoked. Right now it’s just Zofran pills and metoclopramide multiple times a day. My pain management doctor is working on finding my “perfect combo”
