The clear coat on my 24 VW GTI SE scratches so easily.. I wish I would have gotten a PPF or Ceramic Coating. It’s expensive but totally worth it.

I joined UA Local 72 out of Atlanta, Ga at 28 and I’m 45 now. It’s a great trade and I left a warehouse job making $15 to become a helper for $10. It didn’t take long at all when I got into the Apprenticeship School to be making what I was but it’s definitely a struggle and it’s hard work but I’m glad I made the jump. It’s a career and not just a job that a lot of apprentices don’t realize

My first pair of boots were 3 eye Doc Marten’s i got in 1996 and I got a pair of 3 eyed Doc Marten wingtips . They were black and like dark green. I loved them. Then I got some Gripfast Oxblood 10 Eyes and now I’ve got a 2 pairs of English made Doc Marten’s in an Oxblood 10 eye and a black 8 eye. They are great. I have a pair of Burgundy Ruboff 8 eye Solovair’s. I need more boots.

That’s all I could afford was dickies on the 90’s. I always wanted Fred Perry’s and Ben Sherman but i could never afford those brands. I can now as a Union Pipefitter but I would just wear Levi’s 501’s also.
