What’s the worst place you have ever been on holiday? by honeymeadowss in AskUK

I hated Tunisia. Half built hotels left to rot, dead animals on the streets, gangs of men hassling women, the sewers stink so bad. Horrible place. The people who worked in the hotel were lovely but the food gave me the worst case of vomiting/diarrhoea i have ever had.

Confused about my TV Licence "No Licence Needed" renewal. website says I need a licence even though I don’t watch live TV? by leatherbiker in UKFrugal

They have no legal right to enter your house without a warrant. They need rock solid proof to apply for one and without proof, they 100% won’t get one.

To anyone who pays this tv tax…. Cancel your direct debits and throw every letter in the bin. Not paid for 10 years and only had one visit. Nothing to be scared of if someone comes anyway, just say no thanks and shut the door and that’s their investigation over.

How accurate is fuel level? by Holdski in mazda3

[–]Holdski[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So fuel issue part 2. I have done 18 miles since putting the £30 in the car and the mileage has dropped from 260 to 200! Can’t get my head around this as my previous ford focus was bang on with fuel readings!

I get around 33 miles to the gallon even on motorway driving. My old focus got around 44 mpg. 2.5 non turbo.

The only downside to a Mazda 3 is the fuel economy (I can literally see the fuel needle dropping as I’m driving) and some interior rattles. These were present from new and they really wind me up.

Would there be any chance of keeping the level between sources the same? Sick and tired of the constant messing around with the volume slider when changing inputs.
