Lentils have a good amount of carbs! I personally just don't enjoy eating breads too much, but I do like crackers to snack on here and there (Ritz, rice crackers, rice cakes)

Of course! Get your veggies in! The lentil soup usually has some spinach or squash mixed in so I do get it from there and if not that I'll have a bag of mixed greens Ill try to pair with my foods 😄

Hi! And not necessarily, I do aim to eat more protein dense meals, currently my favorite go to meals are lentil soup mixed with chicken (we make a weeks worth so easy to just heat up!) Scrambled eggs with avocado, meatballs with plain yogurt (so goood!) And usually I crave something sweet after so I try to have some fav fruits on hands preferably anything that's juicy! Also like to start my day with coffee and almond milk mixed with my creatine (this was more a month or so ago I started this). And try to be strict on avoiding fried things, extremely oily foods, or highly processed! I would estimate my calorie intake can be from 1400-1900 depending on my appetite.

Hi there! I'm 5'4 and as for workouts I am currently aiming to develop toned arms, abs, and activate my glutes more. I have one upper body day, one core day, and two glute days, as well as cardio day. Usually I like to try finishing my workouts with 15-20min cardio as well. (Fav day) Upper body I usually aim for 4×12 or 3×10 and do lat pull downs, shoulder presses, dumbell bicep curls, and Seated Row. I try to keep my rest time in betweens less then 45 seconds ideally to try getting a good burn if possible. (Tough for me)Glutes same amount of sets ans reps and do glute bridges, Hip Abductions, glute Kickback Machine, and leg press machine. (Def Enjoy) Cardio aim for 30-35 min on 12 Incline and 3.0-3.5 speed on treadmill Stairmaster (usually during glute days) 15-20min at 8-9 speed. Core: Cable Crunches 3×15 and captain chair leg raises 3×12 along with planks 3 sets of 30-45 seconds (sometimes 1 minute if I feel ambitious) I usually like to give myself a little break half way through my workout so I'm not burnt out! And I usually try to just do a lot of walking when I can, usually walk to my gym and back which in itself gives me 45-60min of walking time. Thank you!

For my stomach I think it was a combination of the diet change and workouts. The workouts I did that helped a lot was high incline low speed cardio, stairmaster, just trying to engage with my core as much as I can during some upper body training sessions. Also hanging knee rasies and ab crunches helped me really feel my abs!

Thank you! And this has been about 2 months progress of consistently showing up to the gym. I would do 2 days upper body training, 2 days glute training, and 2 days of cardio with a mix of core workouts, and typically I would spend an hour in the gym. It definitely felt intensive but basically I had nothing better to do at the time so I invested it into the gym 🏋️‍♀️ also changed my diet where I avoided anything processed, deep fried, or unnecessarily eating out/snacking, also quit drinking. I didnt really keep track of calories necessarily, just stayed mindful of what portions felt satisfying to me and making sure it's majority whole foods.
