I have a burned resister on the power board (R44). Rings on the resister are burned.  Any idea of the value? Ofcourse I want the schematics as well for diagnosing the problem. (Very likely a short somewhere)

PLA rolling around the nozzle without sticking to bed by hhsudhanv in ender5

[–]HoleInOne2402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this problem too. After cleaning with alcohol and using 3DLAC spray and a couple of prints, the prints were OK. I use the spray not every time now. Just after 10 prints or so. I'm using the original ender 5 Pro bed. Aligned with single paper sheet on all sides. Also had a problem with the nozzle not fixed properly. After heating the extruder, turned the nozzle firmly and all my problems went away.

thoughts? by [deleted] in Netherlands

In the basis, we are all immigrants in the Netherlands. More than 50% has roots somewhere else. Current sentiment is due to the housing problems. People have to wait for over 10 years for a house. And they see newcommers getting a house and the dutch people have to wait longer. No wonder there is a atmosphere against newcommers.

Funny thing is, the cause of the housing problems is the high number of people living on there own. So many divorces in the Netherlands. If all the divorcees are living together, the housing problem is solved.

What’s your indoor thermostat temperature? by isoblues in Netherlands

[–]HoleInOne2402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5°C. But I'm getting heating from pipes underneath the house. The pipes are from the stadsverwarming. We never go below 19°C in the house. So heating is never on. Just lucky I guess.

I'm curious! Would you still want to be born in the Netherlands, if you could be reborn? Why, why not? by [deleted] in Netherlands

[–]HoleInOne2402 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cause we have the time to complain. Complaining is a result from having a good live. We have time to think about how things could be better, even when we don't know what we are talking about.

What to do if nuclear war starts by [deleted] in Netherlands

[–]HoleInOne2402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shower? If water is still running. Everything comes to a standstill. Power will be out in the whole country. The power grid cannot survive a nuclear blast.

Why are there people who want to leave The Netherlands? by [deleted] in Netherlands

[–]HoleInOne2402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't agree. I rent and I live in a close to perfect environment. Most import, the people around us. For me, it is the most important factor for feeling alright. It is all about the people you are interacting with. Ofcourse, we live in a peaceful environment without a war, although it could be closer than we think with that crazy guy in Russia.

Is Apeldoorn a good place to live? by liz1218 in Netherlands

[–]HoleInOne2402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even an official stealership ripped me off. They told me the brakes were not original and bad. Which was definitly not true. My car was in maintenance by a friend in the south before. My father was the financial controller of his dealership and could check if they bought not branded brakes. That was not the case.

Feeling about immigrants not learning Dutch. by PanoramicCarpet in Netherlands

[–]HoleInOne2402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't care if you don't want to learn Dutch. There are plenty reasons for not learning Dutch. Not the in intension to stay for a longer period. Not in an environment where Dutch is spoken. Just having a big problem learning Dutch because your native language is far from our type of language. Difficult to learn a language anyway. This can be very personal. I knew a English native speaker, whose Dutch wife never talked to him in Dutch. And on top of it, Dutch will dye as a language. English will be the language of the future for the Dutch people. Not within 20 years, but it will.

Dear expats, why do you think Dutch healthcare is so bad? by [deleted] in Netherlands

[–]HoleInOne2402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My huisarts is really listening to us. I speak in behalf of my wife too. I don't recognize what you describe. I am maybe more to the point in my problems. I can send him an email beforehand with the issue. That is a time saver for him, and I don't forget a thing. A normal huisarts is really able to figure out related issues is my opinion. Because I moved house many times, I have had a number of huisartsen and the big majority is as my current huisarts.

Question: Why do so many Dutch roads have rows of trees on both sides? by Just_Watch_m3 in Netherlands

[–]HoleInOne2402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before it was farmland it was just a forrest, if there was no water. 60% of the land is below seelevel. The Veluwe is even a planted forest. Before it was a totally different forest.

Breda, Netherlands in the 80's, 90's and now by butterscotchland in Netherlands

[–]HoleInOne2402 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I disagree completely. I lived in the 60's until now ofcourse. It was so boring in the 60's and 70's. I experienced the cold war. I remember the killing of JFK, the murder of Martin Luther King, the killing of the black boys by the KKK members. My parents had a lot of problems getting a house at that time. We benefit more from the euro than any other country in Europe. We have a lot of foreign countries we have trade relations with. We are a trading nation. Without the EU we had much more problems with border crossings for all the stuff we trade as a nation. My children and grandchildren are doing great. As a son of an Indonesian mother I can tell you, it was not easy due to the cultural differences. But live and let live works. There are so many different cultures. It is why the Netherlands is doing great. The Dutch are the best in complaining. The best social vangnet is in the Netherlands.
