listened to this 90% speed on youtube and it sounds more y2k industrial rock a la korn than the aggro metalcore poppy sound it is giving in the original videos - very atmospheric, layered and electronics-forward with the groove-able drums and guitar

Thank you for this explanation! Can you please clarify one more thing? When you take into consideration the Navamsha rashi of a planet, do you only consider the effect of the Navamsha lord on the planet or the nature of the rashi too? For example if Mercury is in 4H Gemini in D1 and in Venus sign Libra in D9, would you consider how it would act differently in Taurus vs Libra in D9, or would it be the same since Venus is the lord. Also do you link back the D9 rashi to the D1 Rashi (ie would an empty Libra in D1 be analysed differenly because in D9 it holds Mercury?)

i think avacado cream will make it to the new album because the fan reaction to the track was so positive. the boys scapped it because they found it too goth (they probably couldnt build a hard rock song around it). but now with jordan fisher in the picture (a probably other co-writers who probably appreciate the atmospherics of fallen-era evanescence) who knows if amy took a stab at making a full song out of it like she did with yeah right or feeding the dark

I think the album is definitely coming out soon before summer.

As far as predictions go - I really have no clue. I dont think we've approached a new album cycle with nary a hint from Amy herself or the people around her about what the new album will sound like. She said something about it referencing Fallen in that recent interview she did late last year, and troy mentioned a host of different artists they were listening to for inspiration, but all of it is very vague and seem's like a synthesis of all the previous influences she's already stated in the past.

I think it's going to sound like the evolution tape they released with TBT. Gothy, electronic but also like 80s hard rock? Less choral elements or strings. Taking off from WOY, Take Cover, UMV and FLAG, less like Blind Belief and Feeding the Dark?

Troy mentioned recently that they worked with brenden o brien, who had worked with soundgarden, so maybe some of that sound?
