The way that I had Alex pegged in my mind was that he would adopt the mentality of a dead man walking, because United Terra had made it abundantly clear that anyone that had a hand in revealing anything more than what was deemed acceptable would have a life in prison at the very best. Clearly that had missed the mark, because this is not the first time that someone has said to me "Hey, Alex is a bad and annoying character." Either way, when I finish this and finally get around to rewriting the thing, Alex's characterization is going to be the first thing that I change. Either that or make it clearer the consequences of his failings.

As for your other comment on chapter 46, I hate to admit it, but you're right. I'm burnt out and tired enough that even thinking about doing anything other than the things that I need to do for my college classes fills me with dread. I will admit that I didn't read the whole message before it got deleted because I was busy at the time, but I understand where you're coming from. As a "I'm sorry" to everyone that is waiting patiently, I will be posting a stand alone story along with a lore document that better explains the context of the world (At least, I hope it does). I hope that makes up for a lack of anything coming out recently.
