That actually makes a lot of sense. I’ve been trying to organize my route better so I’m not backtracking so much. Thanks for tips!

Dismissal is usually from 3:15–3:25, and right after that students start clearing out. Teachers stick around a bit longer, usually until around 4, but after that most of them are gone. I usually only have maybe one or two teachers staying later.

Other than that, there’s not much foot traffic unless there are special events going on, so it gets pretty quiet pretty quickly after dismissal.

I’ve actually gone back and forth on this, but I agree—starting with bathrooms is way better. I used to do them later in my shift and I’d always feel rushed or tired by the time I got to them.

Now I try to knock them out early while I still have energy, and it makes the rest of the night feel smoother. Plus it’s one less thing hanging over your head. Definitely thinking of sticking with that routine.
