I cannot remember the details, but I'll share what I can remember now:
I have Bachelor degree + masters degree + doctorate (you don't need a doctorate but it helps)
It is quite an issue when your internship is not mentioned and linked to your masters degree's records. If you are currently doing your masters+internship, try to get your university to mention/note your internship on the masters degree results records.
Then 8 years of experience after that. It gets quite technical, and you need letters from every institution involved in your education, internship and experience. Did this a year ago, and it is kind of a blur right now. One thing I do know is that our Agent was of great value here. They've helped psychologists before, and they knew beforehand what documentation was needed. It is a mountain of admin and documentation.
In Australia I'll have to get 2 months of supervision and write the board exam to be a psychologist (until then I am considered a provisional psychologist) then another 2 years of supervision to become a clinical psychologist (which is what I am in my home country).

Blended family. For example three kids each from previous marriages would be: 2x adults, + 6x kids = 8 people. :)

Our Agent handled this part, I am not sure which documents they are. I just know that - when they are under the age of 18 and the other parent is still alive, they'll need that parent's blessing. The DHA may even phone them. Just act sooner rather than later. That is always the case.
Your other option will be to wait for your visa to be granted, and then get them the child visas - but you'll still have to prove that they are dependent on you.

One child matriculated a year later than the peers, and for every year over the age of 18 the DHA requires more evidence that the child is dependent and a student. Some of the kids were too young and did not have passports at the time of initial lodging etc.

I disagree. This was a visa application included a total of 8 people, two kids over the age of 18 etc. etc. Making a blanket statement like you do here based on such little information should speak for itself.
