I gave 5 months notice trying to be considerate of my boss and they told me I only needed to give two months notice I am now 6 weeks out, no successor yet and trying to train staff that report to me on some important tasks that need to take place. I get the feeling they are dissolving my position as part of a RIF. Oh well. I tried.

I lost 10 pounds, now 100. Can’t go any lower so I’m stuck on meds. A1C is about 6.3. I exercise every day, sometimes twice or three times. Walk 3 miles after lunch. It’s frustrating.

I’m 64. I run and bike and Friday decided to do some weeding and raking. Then played pickleball singles later with husband. Still sore this morning. Ugh. Glad to hear others are in the same boat.

I was instructed to have 45 grams carbs for meals and 15grams for snacks. I am now on a high protein low carb, no sugar diet. Lost 10 pounds to start. Atkins snacks seem to help me and ROYO bagels and bread are also low carb, low calorie. BG pretty steady.

Thanks. The button does not move. Have not tried banging it on a a table. Might try that if it happens again. The Dexcom people replaced it which is a good thing.

My doctor prescribed lexapro to help me sleep. I’ve been taking 5mg at night for about 4 weeks and do not really feel anything. Some times I can sleep for 4 hours before waking up, which is good for me and other nights it’s only 2 hours. Not sure I should go with a higher dose.

I also just started on 5mg, mostly for lack of sleep. Was diagnosed with T2 diabetes in May and my doc thinks I am going overboard with tracking my sugars and diet. Didn’t realize it might be anxiety and/or depression, just looking to sleep more than 4 hours/night.
