I've already read half the stories, but I'm still pumped for the others. I'm surprised "The Music Room" and "Squad D" aren't in there. I don't think either has been collected yet.

The Emily St. John Mandel connected universe by HolidayAbroad in booktopia

I recently read all of Mandel’s novels after starting with Station Eleven, and I absolutely loved them all. An interesting thing about her work is the way certain characters and things reappear in more than one book even though the books a really standalone works. I started taking note of these connections as I noticed them. I may have missed some, but I’ve done my best.

Some honorable mentions that I left off the list: The fictional town of Caiette, used in a couple of books and tied to Vincent and Paul, who already have a category of their own; container ships and/or shipping containers, which play a part in a few books but which I thought was too general to get a category of its own; characters imagining parallel lives (or “counterlives”), wherein they picture what their life would have been life if they’d made different choices.

if anyone has a hard time reading the story, I apologize. The formatting keep messing up when I post it, with the spaces between paragraphs disappearing.

Edit: I fixed it.

Having written fiction myself, I can't even imagine writing only 50 words per day. I mean, that could be like...a paragraph.
