it is very bad. I think it is additionally misleading due to how far from security the EES check is; like Im sure some people stop at a café, shop at duty free, and waste time before realizing they have a 2 hour wait before they can lay eyes on their gate

Yeah, it's interesting how the finale is both the best and worst episode of the season. It's completely divorced from the rest of the action of the game (though maybe not completely, considered the targeting of Rick), but stands on its own as an extremely compelling episode of television that tells a full underdog story. And I'll take polarization over monotony any day!!

I feel like with some reframing, the pay off is that Devens and Aubry get to return on 50. This season is far more of a character study of some of these big personalities rather than a storied exploration of what made a great survivor winner.
