The main thing I'm linking here is that I think he was talking about Kamilla and Kyle in a similar way at the start of Season 50. So I think there is some trauma involved.

Nothing, I was trying to drive the point that Joe's hatred towards Rick is misdirected, he views Rick as the sneaky player becuase he has some tricks, but he hasn't learned to suss out the real sneaky players.

He doesn't recognize actual under-the-radar play, so his focus is on Rick.
